My Ionic disconnects from my Jabra Elite Sport wireless earbuds every 30 minutes during exercise. Ive contacted Jabra and they dont have a timeout function so the peoblem must be coming from my ionic. Can anyone help with this? Its very frustrating.

Are battery levels good on both the headphones and the Ionic. Just a thought some people check the watch battery but forget all about the fact that the headphones need to be fully charged as well, sorry if this seems obvious.
Have you tried pairing the headphones with another device and seeing how long they keep going, do some housework to pass the time while listening 😉

My wife and I both have Jabra elite sport Bluetooth headphones and Fitbit ionics. On 100% of my runs my headphones have disconnected from my Fitbit and I have to stop tracking the run to restart Bluetooth connection. Charge is full for both. I have tried both wrists. Both devices are fully up to date as wel as the firmware for the Jabra charger. Fitbit needs to fix this!!! This is the only reason I bought a Fitbit was so I could run without my phone to track the run and listen to music.

I have found though that if you turn the earpieces off (holding the bottom
button on the right side) then switch them back on using the same action, i
have found most times it reconnects within about 5-10seconds. (It gives you
a verbal cue - normally says no device, pauses then tells you its connected)
But you do have to start playing the music again separately. i think you
can do this from the left earpiece but not 100% sure. I normally do it
from the watch. I hold the top right button for about 2 seconds and it
should bring up your track with either a play or skip function.
The other method ive used is holding the top right button on the fitbit for
2 seconds then press the 3 dots on the top left of the screen, press the
device button then select watch as source and usually it reconnects that
way.
Both if these methods you dont have to exit the tracking of your run. 100%
of the time it f's up my pace. 😠
I agree fitbit definitely need to fix this. Right now im regretting 100% of
my choice to switch from nike tom tom to fitbit
