Ionic display edges are blue

Anyone else's iconic showing a blue light on the edges of the screen.

I've tried everything recharging, reset, update.

Hello @Jdoublek10, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Since the issue wasn't solved after restarting your device, please follow the next steps to perform a factory reset procedure:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Hello, I have this same issue & even a factory reset did not solve. In addition, seems heart rate monitor is not working. Device less than 2 years old.

Hello @Handers, welcome aboard. It's a pleasure for me to assist you today.

I'm sorry to know that you're experiencing the same difficulties with your Ionic but thanks for taking into consideration the troubleshooting steps that were shared on my previous post. Since the factory reset procedure didn't work, I recommend you to restart your device and then please change its clock face. For the heart rate sensors issue, please check: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

I'll be here if further assistance is needed.

The heart monitor is now working, but the blue screen edges are still an
issue, I’ve followed all the steps including changing the clock face.

Thanks
Heather

I’m sorry to know that you’re still experiencing difficulties with the display of your Ionic despite trying the troubleshooting steps from my previous post. That being said, I recommend you to try the factory reset that was shared on this post and let me know if the issue persists:

Keep me posted.
