Hi there,
since this morning the display of my Fitbit Ionic is not working.
Just stopped working and overnight discharged the battery from 90% to zero.
I bought them just 2 months ago.
What could it be? Until this moment the watch worked perfectly.

Same, I tried it multiple times and ended up giving up. I borrowed my dads Apple Watch and ended up getting one of my own.

I've done a factory reset and hard restarted it's back to factory settings but the display continues to flicker

Yes. I've only had it 15 months.

I have exactly the same problem...just died during walk. Sensors are lighting up. I have tried all sorts of permutations of pressing buttons. My app still picks it up, so it's working in the background. This is a real inconvenience.
I love running so I have resorted to to having a Garmin Vivoactive 4S as backup. I would still choose Fitbit if these incessant glitches where fixed

Ionic is about 2 yrs old and all of a sudden the display stopped working after last hike and swim. At first there was just massive battery drain and stillastill had a "light" screen display that was just faded. Now totally dead, won't hold charge, blue screen when on charger. See photo. Is this hopeless? I was super happy with this ionic after a bad run where my spouse and I both had charge HR fail a couple weeks out of waterenty and then issues with a replacement, but we tried Fitbit one more time. Might be the last.

I think I have given up on this ionic. Will see how the Vivoactive 4S measures up. I have been a Fitbit fan (probably bought about 10 for myself, friends and family), but looks like our relationship has failed😏

Thanks Musoman;
I interacted with a very helpful agent. I am hoping the ultimate outcome will be as pleasant!

I JUST got this ionic as a replacement for my last one that broke in January, now its stuck on the boot up screen (after plugging it in to charge, nothing new) and they won't replace it because my initial one was purchased over a year ago or whenever the warranty is good for. 6 months!!! this watch stops working at 6 months?! Did all the trouble shooting and they basically told me too bad. Is that supposed to make me want to spend my money on a new one??? How do I get it working, or replaced? If I need to pay for a new one I'm going with apple....

I have the same issue but with my original 2 yr old Ionic. All troubleshooting couldn't help, couldn't even perform a factory reset. Was offered a 25% discount on a new one, which is $187.46 from the discount link they sent. I went to the website and saw the Ionic is on sale for $199.95 and they will not apply the 25% discount to the sale price. So I save a whole 12 bucks being a loyal customer and receiving a discount for a defective device. Very poor business model IMO.
