Ionic does not Connect to GPS

At first it worked great. I would selct Run. wait not even 10secs and after searching my ionic was GPS connected. The past 2 runs

.. it keeps searching but never connects...

@RunnerK  Try restarting your Ionic.  Press and hold the Back and the lower Right button for a few seconds until it reboots.  See if that helps.

 

I am going to move your post to the Ionic forum.  The Ionic has built in GPS, so this issue is unrelated to the Android app.  You might get more help in the Ionic forum.

@RunnerK Please do try the restart that was suggested and let us know it goes. In addition I'd also recommend that you try to restart your phone. That should help in getting it to connect.

before reading tge responses. I set my ionic back to factory settings. uninstalled and re installed fitbit app. and it connected to gos once. Now that I want to go for a run no gps

Thanks for letting us know that you had already tried that.

 

When you try to connect, do you eventually get some sort of error message or does it only continue searching until it finds something? 

 

In the meantime I'd recommend that you try to follow all of the steps listed in this help article.
