Ionic doesn't show a long run crosses two days

I started a run (as an exercise) at 9:10pm, and finished it at 3am the next morning. After syncing with the app, I can't find that exercise on the app.

@CuongPham Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for posting the situation you experienced with Ionic and that long run that crossed two different days.

Are you still not seeing that activity under your list of activities? It is very strange, it should show.

Have you tried to do this again?

I'd recommend double checking if your Ionic is syncing properly. If you happen to experience syncing issues, please try these steps to sort it out.

Another thing you can try is restarting Ionic just in case it is not tracking some data correctly.

Keep me posted!

Thanks for the response.

I saw the activity now. Strange though. I guess it took time to process the
actitivy in fitbit servers before being able to display it on my app.
Usually I could see an activity instantly after syncing. But this long one
didn't show up even though I refreshed the app, tried to resync... Anyways,
it works now. My suguestion for fitbit is to show a processing indicator to
users so that they know to wait. Users are impatient.

@CuongPham Thanks for your reply and for providing that information. I'm glad to hear the activity is now showing up on the list.

Yes, it could be that because the activity was a long one, and a cross days one; it took more time to process and show. I do believe that your suggestions is a good one, I understand users are impatient and having that progress indicator should be helpful.

Please post your suggestion at the Feature Suggestions Board. This is the best place to do this as users can vote for the idea and comment too. The more votes, the better.

Let me know if you create the suggestion. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
