Ionic doesn't show correct time or date

Simply put, the battery died while I was on vacation. I got home charged the watch and the time and date are off. Interesting that it's off about the same time and date the watch battery died. Since then I've recharged the battery and synched the device to my phone and the time and date won't correct itself. Things I've tried.

  • I "Forget this device."
  • Removed the app and reinstalled it.
  • I resynced it with my phone and wi-fi.

Seems I running version 70.7.14 on the watch. iOS 12.4.5.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you certain that the sync occurred because syncing is the only way to update the time?

I see that the sync progress bar is going about half way at a slow pace. Then, it fires all the way across. The steps and calorie count are the same on both devices. The time is still off.

Tried rebooting the watch by holding down the left button and lower right. I got the Fitbit logo for a few seconds. I Removed This Iconic, deleted the app and shut my phone off complete. I rebooted the phone and downloaded. I paired the phone, watch and Wi-Fi again. After syncing again nothing changed except I lost my data from before which is not a big deal. Sure wish the time would correct itself.
