So I tried updating the Ionic last weekend as I saw that firmware popped up. I followed the instructions as usual and ok'd the update. It started normally and went through. I charged my watch on Friday, knowing that I will be out the entire weekend. A few hours later, just as we started the hike, my battery died. I thought it was strange but couldn't do anything about it. Yesterday, I tried to look in the app at what was going on - firmware up to date. Everything is supposedly good, but once I charged it was still running out of juice at a rapid pace. I noticed that the live BPM counter wasn't working and neither were steps recognized. I did a factory reset as some of the posts suggested. As I started updating the watch, it is unable to connect neither via Bluetooth or WiFi for an update, but my phone recognizes it.

Yeah this is happening to me as well...my tracker yesterday stopped counting steps, so I've wiped it re-paired it, and it says it's at 72.1.15, but the app says there is an update as well...which I've attempted multiple times and it fails each time.

I had the same update, I tried to update it 3 times, unfortunately after each time it wouldnt connect to sync. I ended up deleting app off phone. Then reinstalling it. That wouldn't work. Then factory reset the ionic. 3 times and reinstalled it and it would take a full day to upload. Now after all this It can't even sync to download the firmware. Im starting to get really pissed off. And everything 2 weeks ago worked awesome. I could charge it Sunday night and I'd have to do a afternoon charge by Friday. They need to correct this!!!
