I never do this but I’m going on a rant. I love Fitbit. I’ve used Fitbit for years. I’ve bought stock in the company. Turned friends on to Fitbit. You name it. Wear it. Love it. Support it. Until now.
In 2018, my 2nd Fitbit dies again, randomly because it just, in my opinion, is programmed to die after its outside the warranty. Once it’s dead and outside the warranty the only solution is to give me a discount code to spend more money on getting a new one.
Fast forward to today. Screen went black. Can’t get it to reset or turn on. Call Fitbit hoping for a soliton and again met with the same dang result. Sorry. It’s busted. By a new one. What the heck? Why aren’t these things built to last? I hate to do it, but I’m looking for an alternative now. I would much rather breath, eat and die Fitbit over Apple but at least their watches are lasting longer!! So frustrated!!!
