My Ionic started to have intermittent sync problems recently as well as getting a message telling me there was a firmware update which no matter what I tried I could not get to work, either over WiFi or Bluetooth.
Tonight I decided to reset my Ionic back to factory as well as uninstall and reinstall the FitBit app.
Having done both of the above I have the following issues;
1. The Ionic is stuck on the getstartedpage, where you see the FitBit logo and the get started message scrolling in multiple languages. If I restart the device its the same, I cannot get past this message. The device is almost fully charged and is connected to a port and charging.
2. Moving to the app, I run it on an LG G4 running Android 6.0 which had been working fine, I cannot see the Ionic wither via Wifi or Bluetooth.
I am now at a total loss so am turning to the community for help.
Thanks
David

@DJK53 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting this syncing situation and for trying those troubleshooting steps.
Are you still experiencing the same? Please note that the LG G4 is not on the list of supported devices so you may encounter functionality issues when using Ionic with it.
I'd recommend trying these set up troubleshooting steps to sort this out. Please follow the steps in the order given there for best results.
This should help out. Let me know how it goes! ![]()
