Have tried hard reset as per recommendations and no success. Have connected to laptop/charge and no difference. This is my second Ionic Fitbit in a year. My first lasted for around 5 months, and this one just over 6 months.
Anyone know what to do?

@NickAmes Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Ionic resetting itself randomly. Thanks for trying the restart steps in order to sort this out and for sharing all of those details.
In this case, I'd recommend changing your clock face to another one. You could even try using one created by Fitbit for best results. This has helped other users in the past.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!
