Ionic has a 'dead' spot in the screen

Ionic display has a 'dead' spot in the screen....  can it be removed or is it a permanent flaw?

Thanks for getting in touch about this. In order to provide you with the correct troubleshooting, please attach a screenshot to your next reply. 

In the meantime, you may want to check the Product Manual for more information on how your Ionic's display should be.

ok, so attached are a couple pics that identify where the 'dead' spot on the display is (afitbithole1.jpgfitbithole2.jpgbt a 1/8 in diam spot lower center)

@dmsam Thanks for the pictures attached. It seems to be something on the software, please restart it and check if it gets removed.
