Ionic has crashed halfway through a firmware update and I cant get it to restart

Help how do I log the problem with my fitbit. It is my lifeline as I have cochlear implants. Deaf when they are off. Because it vibrates it is my alarm clock ,my message minder , my daily move assistant and my time to take a break warning. It wont start at all so i cant get it to continue the update

Have you tried the instructions for restarting the update in this help file?

I have tried everything. But as the watch won't start i cant see it in a
network scan or a bluetooth scan. It appears to be very dead

If you can't restart the fitbit then I think your best option would be to contact customer support via: contact.fitbit.com 

 

If they can't fix it they can check your warranty status and advise on your options.

Same issue, spent the last 2 days with customer support and nothing.

 

Since it's out of warranty they only offer a discount, really?? 

 

Fitbit broke my watch and now I have to spend $200 with the discount to get a new one??

 

How is that fair or even close to something called customer service?!

 

You broke it and now I'm out $200 if I want one.

 

Looks like it's time for a Garmin!

your options are cough up $200 dollars ( with the coupon code) if you're out of warranty for something that worked perfectly before the firmware update and now is worthless.

 

Why should we be responsible to fix or buy a replacement for something they broke?
