I got the Ionic Fitbit for Christmas and once I finally managed to get it set up, it worked fine for a couple of days although it wasn't the fastest at updating info.

However, it has now stopped syncing. Ive tried all the usual steps; checked Bluetooth, restarted phone, checked updates etc but nothing has worked. I also thought it may have been my phone to I tried using a Samsung and an Iphone and neither has worked.

Has anyone else had similar problems?! Not impressed!

Yes same here.  Your problem is not the phone ......I too have Huawei. The problem is we have a fitbit Ionic  Fitbit and Huawei seem incompatible. but Fitbit won't tell you that.

@SunsetRunner fitbit do acknowledge the issue with Huawei phones. They say:

"Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:

  • Huawei P8 Lite
  • Huawei P9 Lite
  • Huawei P20 Lite
  • Xiaomi Mi 6"

My reading of that is that fitbit cannot fix it unless Huawei change things.

I didn't mention it in my earlier post as the OP said they had an issue with other phones too so it wasn't just the problem with Huawei.

I agree with you, but when fitbit say it is compatible with your phone and it still does not work............Like mine ......  Glad I did not have to pay good money for this ionic crap.
