Ionic heart rate in peak zone while sedentary

Has anyone else had this issue? Since upgrading to the SPO2 clock face, my heart rate is often getting measured way, way higher than it actually is. I was just working at my desk and found I had over 200 zone points because my Ionic was recording my heart rate as 180. When I measured it manually, it was in the mid-60s.

Had my watch two years, may just be getting old I guess?

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @BillN26.2.

Thanks for the information provided.

There are some factors that can affect your heart-rate reading on your Fitbit Ionic. I would recommend following these tips to resolve heart-rate tracking issues.

In addition you can find some instructions to improve your heart-rate readings in this article in the menu "How do I improve the accuracy of a heart-rate reading?".

Hope this helps.
