The bpm/ heart rate monitor is not working on my Fitbit Ionic. It’s not even showing green lights on the back. What gives? How do I fix this?

It’s good to see you in the community, @Lamarpanther.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and recommend restarting your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device? For complete troubleshooting tips, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

By the way, I've moved your post to the Ionic board so we can keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps.

Hi @LiliyaFitbit ,

The same thing happened to me. My ionic even stopped counting my steps. And despite the fact that I restarted my device many times, that I unpaired it with the app on my iphone 6, that I uninstalled the app, paired it again, nothing seemed to have resolved this problem.

I really don't know what to do. And for the investment I made, I don't want to waste this device, I would just like to enjoy it.

Thank you for helping me.

Please, help me.

Yep. Too much money to be having problems like this. Almost makes me want to switch to the Apple Watch.

Hi,

I am having the exact same trouble. My FitBit Ionic stopped tracking my heart rate. I restarted my watch several times and then one day randomly it started again but it is completely inaccurate. The green light has also stopped. I contacted support via Live Chat and spoke to Aleja who created ticket # 41225456. She said that she would escalate this problem and someone from FitBit would contact me via email. As I have not heard from anyone I sent FitBit an email and received a reply saying that FitBit no longer supports via email!

Someone please help!

Hi Support, can you get in touch to discuss my issue on my Ionic. Heart rate monitor stopped working no green light on back and have followed advice in forums on factory reset and cleaning. Fitbit is 2 years old and is my 4th device ((3 blaze devices) which all had issues see my previous history.

tried to send to Fitbit-support.com  but no reply
