Ionic heart rate monitor stopped working after latest firmware update

My ionic was working wonderfully up until this mornings firmware update. I cannot emphasize how much I hate what Google has done with the fitbit interface. It's a shame they broke something that worked great before just for the sake of changing something. I had a long hike this morning. Got my heart rate up for over an hour, everything looked great, I had almost achieved my goals for the day by 9:30am. Then firmware update happened and now heart rate is not registering on my device and the app tells me I have 0 points ..then 39....then 0 again. It's infuriating. If my ionic has been rendered irrelevant with this new thing I'm going to have to ditch the fitbit for good and go to garmin. Fix this!

It was working perfectly until I updated the firmware. It's a little infuriating when you moderators just link people to articles that don't really apply or help. I've been a fitbit customer for over seven years. This device is my fourth fitbit and the last. I'm going over to Garmin.

I haven't had heart rate recording or detailed sleep monitor since 16th March. Was told it was my replacement wristband that was causing the problem eh I don't think so!

Disgusted with the lack of support.

Hope you have more success.
