Hello my Fitbit ionic sensor doesn’t work anymore, it doesn’t show the lights or record heart rate. I have restart and followed the steps I’ve seen online and it still doesn’t work. Any help ?

My heart rate sensor is no longer working and the watch isn’t registering steps correctly either. I have restarted the watch as well as factory reset it, and it won’t calibrate.

Hello FitBit,
I am having the same problem. The heart rate monitor is a static green light rather then a flashing one.
I have tried all the things in the conversation threads but nothing seems to work.
Any help you can give will be gratefully received.
Regards Mark

My heart rate and activity don't track. I have tried everything from checking settings, restarting, resetting to factory settings.
David...I've tried everything...how can I escalate this to the customer support team. Also wanted to know if there were any fitbit service centres in India where I could get my iconic fitbit checked as both the heart rate and the activity tracker won't work

My Ionic stopped with the heart rate sensor, just as described here. The green light sometimes blinks for a minute but then stops again. What can I do?

unfortunately fitbit will not help us with the crashed sensors.
their only answer is reboot, restore factory settings etc etc
If they could tell a new update release date i would consider waiting.
Now we are many looking other ways...sadly
GF935 or GF945 😉
I will be amazed if they post a solution here... that works 😂

Thanks for your reply.
So I have to consider buying another fitness tracker.
I use it because I'm a heart patient and I have diabetes.
So its important to see my heart rate.

I am sure it need a firmware fix, they are silence
Many people in the community screams about this failure.
I will move, but want to get my Ionic fixed.
will it fixe sensor issues
I have no heart rate
no step count
no floor count, probably also other issues
looking forward to see it.

Hi,
Having similar issue with Ionic -no HR detecting, no flickering green light. Tried restarting , resetting, re-pairing to no avail. Any suggestions?

I have the same issues but Fitbits solution is to offer me a discount on a new watch. They’re unable to fix the issue it seems.

I'm facing exactly the same issue listed here...my sensor just stop working...it doesn't count my steps and doesn't show my heart rate...it became just a watch....if I wanted just a watch..I would go to wallmart and would buy one for 5 dollars....
I followed all the steps listed here...reset...factory reset....checked the heart rate on settings...was on.....I really don't know what to do....I don't want to just throw this device away ...I would like to know if I did everything I could to fix it before I throw this away and buy a garmin or Samsung..or even an Iwatch.......any thoughts?how can I talk with the support service?

@Atty86 @I think the situation is this...
If your device is under warranty, you stand a chance of getting it replaced.
If you’re out of warranty, you’re going to get a discount off a new device at best.

this is not fair...they want you to spend MORE money buying a new one....they should at least try to fix the device...they don't even give you an option to send them the device so they can try to fix it...This is ridiculous

Hi @libbyA ..I'm sad to hear that you are experiencing the same problem that I had....
unfortunately they won't help you...they'll say that you need to buy a new one....
BUT if you're lucky...and your device is still under warranty..they'll send to you a new one...
cross your fingers 🙂

It's out of warranty!! It's also not the first problem I've had with it either
Thanks anyway
Rung customer services did stop, start, shutdown and factory reset twice still not working!! Told me to ring back if not working so will spend another half hour on the phone to them tonight!!
----------------
Rang customer service again as it didn't work I must of taken out an extended warranty so they are replacing my Fitbit
