While I had my Fitbit ionic on my wrist, my watch piece in the centre heated up and went black. The screen will not turn on and it is not charging. This is the second time this same thing has happened to me in the last 6 months since I got my ionic for my birthday. I’m really upset because I love using my watch and now where I have to go to get a new one is out of stock of Fitbit ionics... what do I do? And is there anyway to stop this from happening? Please help!

How are you charging it?
See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

I was reading in bed last night and felt mine get extremely hot - burned my wrist but felt it before blistering. It did not cool off at all nor would it turn on. I put it on a ceramic dish and placed in the sink overnight so it wouldn't burn anything. Was still hot a few hours later. It was cool this morning and wouldn't turn on. Contacted support and they sent me a label to send it to them.
