Ionic -impossible to stop swimming activity

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello

If I start a swimm, I can put it on pause, but not stop it : neither by tapping the screen or with the button. I have to force the Ionic to start again, and I loose the activity.

It does work with other activities however. I noticed that with the swim activity, there is a point next to each  button on the right, but not for the other activities. Can someone help ?

@Dagohdag A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

When you start a swim activity the touch screen is disabled and if you need to pause or stop it, you need to press the button and two options will show: Resume or End.

Please restart your Ionic and start a swim activity again. If you're not seeing these options please attach a picture of the picture you're getting.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I have tried to restart the ionic twice. To remove the swimming of the favorite activities. But still nothing work. I just cannot stop a swimming activity, only make a pause.

The swimming is the only activity where there are points next to the buttons (see pictures). If you can help with it ?

I'm wondering for the purpose of troubleshooting whether you should change the device language from French to English and test?

@Dagohdag Thank you for getting back. I appreciate the screenshot attached.

Usually if you tap on the flag icon, it should give you the option to stop the swim activity, please try pressing the flag and stop it.

@PaulMe Thanks for your input.

Looking forward to hearing back from you. 😺

Hello

I have tried tapping the flag, pressing the button, anfmd this even before I contacted you. It does not work with the swimming activity, only for the pause, but not for end activity. It does work however for other activities.

I notices that for the swimming, there is a point on the right of the flag, on the screen. This point is not visible for other activities. What does it mean ?

If you have another idea ? I expect it is due to some kind of parameter but which one ?

For the moment, i still cannot register any swimming activity through the watch, although this is why I choose this watch.

Please help !

Hi

I have been waiting since this last post, and since a I got a mail from the support with a ticket reference,  but no-one never answer to this problem. It has bern two months already !

I have tried again to reinitialise the ionic, but nothing works. Without the swimming activity, this watch has much more less sense for me. Could you please ask again the support to contact me ?

Best regards
