I picked up the new Ionic 2 weeks ago and the GPS has been widely inaccurate. I also own a Garmin Forerunner 910XT that i have used for a couple years now. The first day I ran with both units the Ionic was dead on for 4 miles. Since that day the Ionic has been off at least .12 miles on 4 to 6 miles runs. When i ran an 8 mile trail run it was .4 miles off (conditions were overcast). Today when I ran (weather conditions to start were overcast but could see some sun) 8 miles the first 4 miles the Ionic was ahead of the Garmin by .05 miles, when i turned around at 4 miles the conditions started to deteriorate with dense fog the Ionic went from .05 miles ahead to .15 mile behind the Garmin. Not sure what is happening but either weather affects the Ionic or the fact that i tightened the band up one notch when I started.
Thoughts anyone?

@judgeh2 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! There are some situations that may affect Ionic's GPS accuracy. Weather, as you mentioned, is one of the main reasons why Ionic may be a bit off on this.
Tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your watch's ability to connect to GPS satellites. Please check this article for more details.
Also, check this other article about GPS Accuracy. I think you will find this helpful as well.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!
