My ionic completely died and I have tried to charge it for a few days now through that USB on my computer and in the wall with no luck. According to the app it says my battery is completely dead and phone will not connect to it. I have cleaned the cable and connections but the charger works for my wifes, so I know its the watch. I'm not sure what else to do? I've tried to restart it holding the buttons with no luck? Can someone please help?

Nope. It's stupid dead and in the garbage (recycled)! We bought Versa 2 and I gave it to my daughter and she loves it!

Hello, my Fitbit is no longer charging using any of my two charges. I have cleaned the back of Fitbit and have tried many things discussed on this page. Is there any other recommendations that I am missing. Thank you

ok the reset technique worked,,,, but I did you a USB hub instead of charger with adapter. I held down left button and bottom right several times even after I got the 0% sign. Then I plugged back into USB hub charger. I have the charger that engulfs whole watch case, the magnetic charger plugs I have had a lot problems with them keeping contact and charging and saying low charge. I periodically use a toothpick to clean charger contacts, I use a plastic toothpick to clean out dead skin, sweat and any dirt that accumulate on contacts and also around contacts to get a clean clear connection.

keep trying I have three different kinds of chargers, magnetic plug, good sometimes, the pedestal that you lay I ton top of it and straps hang down and the third is the box which encapsulates or engulfs entire watch case. don't give up, you spent too much not for this watch to not work,,,,,

This seems to be my go to charger,, it works the best, but it will come
back with message of”not charging not enough power detected from this
source “ bit I get that a lot, I think a lot of times it’s the connectivity
is not consistent,, but it eventually charges it!

Oh dear Fitbit strikes again with scores of people with the same problem, very poor product. My ionic was fully charged, i did an update thru the app went for a run, 15 mins in and the watch died. Now it wont switch on or charge whatever i try. THIS CAN ONLY BE A SOFTWARE PROBLEM. not happy

The same happened to me in the fall. Fitbit replaced the face of the watch.
I bought another one after I gave then previous one to my daughter and the same thing just happened 2 days ago. I'll be calling them again.
This is very frustrating!!!

Will not buy any Fitbit product moving forward. I have been a Fitbit customer along with my family since June 2015. All products, Surge, Ionic and Scale are products which have failed multiple times. DO NOT Purchase Fit Bit products.

This is the second ionic that has gone bad and not I will no be purchasing another one. My wife got rid of hers and bought the apple watch.
Fitbit offered me 25% on a new one, but I had enough of their poor product.
We all know it is a poor battery issue and instead of replacing the battery, they want us to buy a new one.
Shameless! I am done!

Haven't you all noticed that the so called fitbit support team has disappeared? They do not stand by their product. I bought a Garmin a while back after the second Ionic died. Never again.
