My brand new ionic started showing 0% Battery. Then screen went black when I connected the charging cable. Pressed buttons nothing stayed black. No charge. Tech help suggested isopropyl alcohol wash of charging contacts with cotton wool bud. Only had CRC Tackle Guard so used that then dried carefully with paper towels. Then scraped the contacts with finger nail. Reconnected the charging cable and the Fitbit logo popped onto the screen. Since then fully charge the ionic and loaded 40 songs from my library. So if your ionic wont charge try cleaning the contacts with non metallic scraper. Good luck. Regards Happy Des

Thanks for the suggestions but nothing worked, three days plugged in and two cleanings of the contacts, multiple button manipulations still nothing. D E D dead. Is there a warranty policy of somekind, I got it around this past Thanksgiving.
