I bought the Ionic when it first came out and I had the Blaze before that. As I look closely at the times of my runs, I've seen a problem. For example, a couple days ago I jogged two miles on an indoor track. When I finished the initial time the Ionic showed (when it says "Great Job!") was 31.16 or a 15'38" mile pace. When I looked at the app later on my phone it showed my distance as 2.27 miles (a quarter mile more than I actually jogged). Under "Energy Burned," the time was 33:43 or a 14'52" pace for that distance. Then, when I looked at the Exercise page, it showed a 13'47" pace. So which is it? I know all the times are slow, but hey, I'm old. I just want them to be accurate, or at least consistent.

Hi there @Beamish.
Thanks for the detailed information shared in your post. Just to confirm are you tracking your exercise using only your Fitbit device or MobileRun in the Fitbit app? Or, did you use both at the same time? If you used both at the same time, I would like to suggest you to only use one, preferably your Fitbit device.
Take in consideration that Fitbit devices calculate distance by multiplying your walking steps by your walking stride length and multiplying your running steps by your running stride length. We estimate your stride lengths using your height and sex.
If you prefer to measure your walking and running stride lengths yourself and enter them manually, see How do I measure and adjust my stride length?
If you continue getting pace discrepancies, please provide me some screenshots about this so I can take a look and continue assisting you from there. Click here to see how to attach a picture.
See you around.
