Separate issue, in that case I would get no notifications, now I just get all of them except texts which is all I actually need.
As far as telling me to contact support and get instructions on setting it up, I don’t think you mean to be insulting but did it occur to you that maybe I tried that? Maybe the setup is so straight forward there is nothing else to configure? It just doesn’t work, I’ve even replaced the watch (LCD screen died).

@Dels15778 the Apple watch doesn't work at all with Android, what's up with that?
At least android doesn't fight third parties.

I did all that, still not receiving texts, I do receive emails, but no texts. Super frustrating. They used to appear but no longer.

Hello—any updates on this fix? It’s been months since my Ionic stopped getting texts from my phone. I’ve tried all the options and nothing is working.

Hi Becca, I started receiving text messages again a few months ago. I have the Ionic and a Samsung s9+ phone, with all the apps and softwares updated, and it's been working out for me perfectly fine now.

Well it is november 2 of 2020, AND STILL NO FIX! We are to the IOS 14.1 by now, can guarantee it is not a phone issues. ALL steps and possible solutions have been tried multiple times. Obviously FitBit doesn't seem too concerned about trying to keep customers. And after reading through all the comments, its apparent that it is not just an Apple issue. It has been a year now, if you valued your costumers and a solution was being worked on....it is well past due!! And seems that it IS a FitBit issue, due to the fact that people can still get phone calls on their watch, but not texts. If the phone was the issue and "changed something" then it seems it would affect everything to do with the phone. Please stop being rude and condescending to everyone on here who have told you multiple times that everything is NOT working and its not a phone issue. As someone who works and/or represents FitBit, it's time to boss up and take responsibility that obviously it is a problem that will not be fixed, due to it just can't or yall don't want to or care to, and just let us know this so we can stop wasting our time with it.

Rebooting my iconic is the only thing that temporarily fixes this issue for me. I have to reboot my iconic about once every two weeks or so.

Mine only showed text very briefly when i first got it. I have tried everything and lots of tech support nothing works long term
