@Oxley Welcome to the Fitbit Community! First thing I'd try is performing a restart on your Ionic. This has helped other users in the past. You can also try turning off Bluetooth on your phone, waiting 10 seconds, and turning it back on, then try syncing again.

 

If you keep experiencing this after trying the tips above, please check these syncing troublesooting steps to have this fixed. This should certainly help you out.
