Ionic is not getting notifications from iPhone SE

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have an Iphone SE and had the charge 2, no problems with texts, call or movement reminders

I switched to the Ionic recently and havent been able to get any notifications of any type. All of the setting ares turned on, I've restarted and re-installed the Ionic. Basically followed each of these steps:

What can I do?

It's nice to see you around the forums @Nocam! Hope you're doing great! Smiley Very Happy Thanks for already trying the steps posted in the Fitbit help article, nice way to go my friend!

Besides what you've done, please make sure your tracker is not currently on the "Do Not Disturb" mode by pressing down the button on the side for 2 seconds, a vibration and a message will let you know if "Do Not Disturb" has been turned on or off.

If you have any other tracker or if you have already tried this, please go to your phone settings and make sure "Do Not Disturb" is disabled (do this once again, just to double check), then go to Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following is enabled:

  • Allow Notifications.
  • Show in History.
  • Show on Lock Screen.

PS: Did you try “show history” in notifications for messages? That’s what was wrong with mine.  I get calls and texts now.

Give this a shot and let me know the outcome, I'm here for you! Woman Very Happy

Hello, I followed all instructions but when I click on notifications and the phone tries to connect to the ionic it doesn’t work. I had an iPhone se before and with the new se it is not able to connect which is frustrating. What else can I do? Is that a known Fitbit ionic issue? Problems connecting with iPhone se?

Thanks! Didn’t realize holding down the side button for a couple of seconds would help. Sure enough it did! And, I toggled notifications from off to on.
