For the last 3-4 days my notifications on my Ionic have not been working correctly. I will get a text/facebook message on my phone and my ionic will not vibrate but when I swipe down the notification is there. I have turned off Bluetooth and reinstalled, synced, removed all notifications and re-added. I will get vibrations for reminders to move, alarms, and times, its only the notifications that are not working. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hey guys! I hope you are doin' fine!
@SunsetRunner, as you say, performing a factory reset every time you want to receive the notifications on your Ionic is kinda annoying. I wonder if you have already tried the tips that @Bjørnar posted above. Those could be really helpful.
The same to you @Maryk2301 and @Khalzy. Welcome aboard! Could you please try the tips suggested above and let me know how it goes!
Thanks for the update @Gingershamrock! Sounds great that your Ionic is getting notifications now.
Keep me posted guys!

I am also having the same issues and have tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions. I have only had the ionic for 3 days. The notifications only worked properly for one day :-(.

Between your phone, your fitbit and the Fitbit app there are soooooo many different places your notifications can get changed or messed up. I racked my brain and tried all the things in this post and then remembered the one place I completely forgot about was holding the left button on the fitbit, it brings up options to adjust your awake screen and notifications. I own a child care.center and the kids are constantly pushing the buttons on my Fitbit, one of them must of turned them off by holding that left button! Wow 🙄 I only used that option once when I originally was setting up my fitbit so I completely forgot about it.

Hello
I have an Ionic and the vibrate has not worked from day one. I have tried everything suggested on the community forum and still nothing.
I have also spoken to the customer service department and they have been unable to help.
At the moment it is a very expensive watch and step recorder, which could be going in the bin any day now if I cannot get this fixed.
Any further suggestions how to get this watch to vibrate?

This has also been going on with mine for a few weeks, despite trying all of the suggested steps. Was anyone able to resolve this issue?

I wrote a «how-to» earlier in this topic, since I experienced «difficulties» with the notification method. My guideline is pretty basic and straight forward, so if you have followed that one and it still doesn’t work and never has! I would return the watch to fotbit and demand a refund or a new watch on the warranty.
