Hey @Nim3, It's nice to see you around the forums! Woman Wink If your tracker is not vibrating when you get notifications, I'd like to restart  your Ionic by following these steps:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Ionic doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

Note that Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa receive notifications while your phone is in Do Not Disturb, Quiet hours, or Driving mode, but your watch won’t vibrate or wake the screen. To view notifications, swipe down from the clock screen.

On the other hand, please note that with the new Fitbit OS update 2.1, Notifications are now removed from the Ionic/Versa once you open the conversation in your phone. This is expected behavior and not an issue.

Keep me posted!

I tried restarting my ionic and also shutting it down, but nothing worked. Any other ideas?

I can’t tell you how frustrated I have been.  It’s a long story but I will just let you know I have a happy ending. I contacted Phone support, I have a 8plus and they walked me through resetting my network settings.  After that I stumbled upon how to turn on my notifications from the Fitbit iconicby holding down the left button for a couple seconds and the wake up screen/notifications came up.  My notifications were turned off. I am now receiving txt and phone call with vibrations on my Iconic.  Hey really wanted this to work because the battery life is so sucky on that Apple Watch.  I hope this works for you. Remember if the screen on your phone is unlocked you won’t get notifications.
