My Ionic is showing excessive active minutes! I average 49-60 active minutes when I do my workouts. I did not do any workouts, Friday (263 active minutes Ionic states); Saturday (361 active minutes) or Sunday 495 active minutes. The excessive active minutes is messing with my calories burned as well, how do I fix this?

Hey there @mlssa33428, thanks for stopping by! I'd suggest checking your heart rate during those times you were given too many active minutes to see if perhaps it was getting (possibly false) high readings of heart rate.
If this would be the case, sometime the Ionic can't detect you have taken it off, and it sees what it thinks is your pulse. Note that if you remove your tracker but it keeps moving, for example if you put it in a pocket or backpack, the tracker may display an erroneous heart rate reading. This could also explain the active minutes your Ionic tracked. Remember that the wrist trackers count steps depending on the movement of your arms, when you are driving or for example when your tracker is close to a fan or even when it feels vibrations while it's being charged.
You can prevent this by turning off heart rate tracking when the tracker is not in use, log into your dashboard and go to Settings > Devices to turn your Heart Rate Tracking to "Off."
You can also try logging a driving activity to negate this incorrect data.
Usually what I do is to compare my graph steps against active minutes. When the amount of active minutes increase is when you have a higher amount of steps in a short period of time. Let me explain this a lit better, the step graph accounts the amount of steps for 15 minutes interval. So if you have more steps than you got with a regular walk you will achieve active minutes. So, take a moment to review your graph and if the amount of steps is lower and does not match with your active minute then is something else. Essentially, as I mentioned, active minutes are a measurement of time spent doing activity that is more intense than regular walking. So, if you walked or have too many steps with high intensity you will awarded with active minutes.
