My Fitbit ionic isn't tracking my steps at all. It is switching through screens on its own. Looks like I'll be purchasing a non fitbit brand soon.

@whitted_h @neverallout Hi there. Thanks for the details mentioned.
@whitted_h In order to provide you with the correct troubleshooting, please let me know if you're having trouble switching through screens and if this data is showing in your Fitbit app too.
@neverallout I see where your disappointment is coming from. Please restart your watch and continue monitoring its functionality.
Hope this helps.

This is a common fault on this model and has happened to me a few times. Fitbit are of no help whatsoever.
Seem's to be a design flaw, if its off a lonng period of time and there is a firmware update, its nightmare to reset, even hard reset, cleaning of the contacts that they fob you off with.
I'm on again to see if theres anything new on this as mines has doen it yet again I will never purchase another fitbit item ever.

Trust me, Fitbit wont work on a solution. But "apparently" happy to help

Happened to me a couple of times. Last time it happened I had spent most of day simply in bed under the weather and all of a sudden I had a whopping 15,000 step suddenly generate out of nowhere.
I don't sleep walk.
I know no cause/solution will ever be discovered so pointless to even have these threads I feel.
Is Fitbit going away?
