Ionic issues after updating to latest firmware version

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’d like to start listing all the bugs introduced by the latest update.

Fitbit closed the OS topic. Not sure why, it’s completely unfinished and buggy.

-notifications do not clear. Once reset old notifications show up randomly.

-battery discharges faster. Even using Fitbit clocks the battery drops to 1-2 days

-weather app never worked and still does not.

-Bluetooth connection is a lot worse and breaks more on headphones playing music

-random apps appear on device. Old apps I’ve tried a lot time ago are showing up on the device, have not installed them

-the new today feature takes very long to load

-today feature does not remember last setting, it reset and now shows me different options.(never chose sleep and weight but now they appear, I kept resetting but I’m giving up and not using this feature)

-today feature does not sync water.

-exercise app crashes during workout.

- lift wrist to wake is working less. The latest update broke this sensitivity. I have to pretty much exaggerate to look at the time.

-phantom steps. The latest update reads steps when the device is sitting on my table.

- will not turn off the heart rate sensor. At night leaving the device on the table it will not turn off the sensor. The green light remains on even without skin contact.

Im sure there is more. This needs to be brought forward, the software is broken. Each update just breaks the device more.  Im loosing hope here.  Each update feels like stepping on a landline hoping your device doesn’t break.

Mate ive tried everything. Ive been told its a firmware issue and to "be
patient" for a fix. Has been months now. So **ahem** frustrating.
