Ionic locked "unlock with phone" problem

Hi all,

I have the Ionic which was my partners. He gave it to me and disconnected his phone so I could connect mine but I never did. Just used it without connecting to my phone at all. My niece was playing around with it and it is now saying "unlock with phone" but neither mine or my partner's phone is connected to it.

My partner tried to reconnect but it wouldn't let him. I have also tried to connect and it won't allow me to either.

So how can I unlock it if it's not connected to any phone?

1st step, if the ionic is telling you to use the Fitbit app on the phone to unlock the tracker. Removing the tracker from your Fitbit account will prevent you from doing this.

How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit device?

If the ionic was setup to only lock Fitbit pay you would be able to re-add..

We now have to do a factory reset  using the button method. 

On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.

- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.

- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.

- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

Hi, I followed this exact procedure, it did the strong vibration but just went blank straight after it and wouldn't turn back on?

Please help, I've put it on the charger even though it's already charged but it won't even show the charging sign

When it asks to unlock with phone, they user needs to simply use the app to change the pin code

@Rich_Laue I tried everything to unlock it with my phone for hours but it just wouldn't unlock. I ended up following the factory reset process you put up, my ionic did viberate but just went blank and wouldn't turn back on
