Ionic loosing connection with my phone

Hi there,

It seems that after one of recent updates, not sure wether Ionic or Fitbit App update, my Ionic just keeps loosing connection with my phone (Samsung S10) which results in not receiveing any notifications on the watch at all and problems with syncing.
At first I thought it was occuring when I was using my bluetooth speaker or headphones. But today it happened a few times throughout the day and I didn't use any bluetooth device at all.
Sometimes when this happens I need to fire up the fitbit app and sync my watch, sometimes it syncs and my watch shows me the entire backlog of notifications, sometimes I can't sync it for 10 minutes and app keeps saying "sync failed". It's completely random. I do have fitbit app excluded from going to sleep. I tried every single thing I could, restarting everything, watch, phone, uninstallling and reinstalling fitbit app, everything. I even tried to downgrade the fitbit app but for some reason I can't get hold of any Installation Files as it looks like fitbit took care to remove them all from all websites.
I don't know, but it is so frustrating and I'm getting fed up with this.

@Kierownik It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate the troubleshooting and the detailed information shared. I see where your frustration is coming from.

I would like you to double check the requirements that you need in order for your watch to sync properly to your phone. Also even though you have tried some of the troubleshooting that I'll share, please make sure to follow the procedure as mentioned below:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app, then reopen it.
  2. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. If your Fitbit device doesn't sync, restart it. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  4. Open the Fitbit app.
  5. If your Fitbit device doesn't sync, restart your Android phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app.
  7. If your Fitbit device doesn't sync, uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
  8. Open the Fitbit app.
  9. If your device doesn't sync, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  10. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone and try to sync.

Last but not least, it's not possible to downgrade the Fitbit app.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
