When I ride my bike over 40km I regularly loose Gps signal for 10 or 15 km? Any idea how to fix it?

I don't usually make long runs. But the other day I ran 21km and did experience the GPS lost signal. It happens after the km 17 when a was trying to see the time I was making. I have mi ionic linked to a One+ 6T.
