My wife has recently upgraded as her previous fitbi as it decided to have a blank screen and seemed to be a firmware issue, judging by the number of other fitbit users complaining. The only solution was to buy a new device but at least Fitbit provided a discount to encourage us to move.
However, four months in and the watch keeps losing time over night. Last night over 1 hour. One of the key features of the fitbit is the time and an alarm.
I have posted on one of the other threads for this time issue but not received a response. The moderator had provided a 'solution' but this failed to work.
We suspect its another issue with the Firmware update but would be good to have an answer/solution from Fitbit when this will be fixed.

The following are the things you can do if your FitbitIonic is no longer syncing properly with your phone. ... Restart your phone and make sure Bluetooth is enabled. Make sure the Always Connected and All-Day Sync are enabled on your Ionic. Force close Fitbit app.

Thanks for your reply.
I have logged off both iphone and ionic. Checked bluetooth connected. Also connected Wifi as it seems to keep logging out of this too.
I spent some time trying to find the 'all day sync' button. After a lot of searching google and this forum, I understand this option has been removed. SunsetRunner posted a note on this.
It lost over 1 hour overnight and the step count was only 4 - so another issue
I have removed and reinstalled the Fitbit app on the iphone and there is software update the iphone (14.2) so will see if any of these measures help.
Does the Fitbit need to be synced all day (next to the phone) in order for it to keep time? This is serious floor if its the case.

My Ionic stopped syncing again today, same problem the Ionic had a year or so ago. I have tried everything to get it to work but no luck. So frustrating. Had to wait for Fitbit to fix the problem and push through an update last time

Did you call them to push through an update? The watch says it is fully up to date.
Still losing about an hour overnight after all the resets and updates made.
Will have to resort to calling customer services unless there are any other suggestions on how to fix this issue

My versa has been losing time over night since the last firmware update. I updated the phone app. I sync 4-5 times a day and now every morning the time is wrong. This makes the alarm useless as I've been late to work now several days. I really wish Fitbit did a better job testing before they pushed out updates. I cringe every time it says a firmware update is ready.
