Ionic music not playing in left ear bud

I have just bought the JBL Free X Bluetooth wireless earphones for use with my Ionic but the music only plays out of the right earbud. It does play for a few seconds in the left but then stops.

 

Both ear buds work fine when paired to my iPhone and this problem only happens with the Ionic. 

 

If I hit pause and play it plays for another few seconds but then stops again. 

 

I have also also seen this problem reported on the Bose forums so seems to be a problem with the Ionic.

 

Can you help?

A warm welcome to the Community @laurasinead. Thanks for mentioning the earphones that you're using. I would like you to restart your Ionic and forget the earphones from the settings by doing the following:

 

  1. On your watch, open the Settings app User-added image
  2. Tap Bluetooth. 
  3. Scroll down and tap Remove. 
  4. Tap the device you want to remove and then tap Yes to confirm.
