I have an Ionic and am unable to use the transfer music functionality after trying dozens of times (even once with the support team).
My watch does connect and sync for transferring things like step count, etc., but when i use the Transfer Music part of the app, my computer will not connect to my watch.
It is interesting that one time (after attempting MANY times) I was able to load a playlist. But after doing it just one time, the play list disappeared from my watch and i have never since been able to reload/connect music transfer functionality.
Something is clearly broken, or highly un-intuitive from a user experience perspective here. Loading music directly onto the watch is one of the main selling features of this watch and it appears to be a fully unfunctioning feature. Very disappointing! Has anyone else have this experience? Any possible solutions/hacks?

Mac or PC?
Using the Fitbit app or Fitbit Connect.

Fitbit connect doesn't work with the Ionic. Here is a print screen from the setup process...

Your tracker is already setup and there is no need to use Fitbit Connect to set up the ionic.
Simply log into your account, through Fitbit Connect and follow the directions to transfer music.

You have pressed the transfer mode on your watch,
Has the watch been setup to connect to your home's wifi?
It may also help to have the watch plugged in and charging since this is when WiFi is turned on.

thanks for all the posts, but it is still not working.
yes, it is in transfer mode and connected to my wifi, however, i think it has major issue maintaining connection, even though i'm right beside my router. i have no issues on any other wifi devices.
based on your note, i tried connecting to the wifi from scratch and then try to transfer music. it did get one step further, but still not able to send music as it hangs endlessly. here's another screen shot that shows where it hangs...
