Ionic needs to sync with chest strap (Polar H10)

I bought the ionic so that I could accurately track my daily calories expended. I’ve found that during exercise the HR readings are very inaccurate. This requires me to buy a chest strap monitor, which I ordered the Polar H10. I know that I can sync the data somehow through endomondo or training peaks. But I’m not able to view my HR in real time to adjust my output level. Is there a fix, workaround, or do I need to scrap Fitbit and go back to Garmin or somewhere else? I’ve seen multiple posts, but no real answers or any real customer service initiatives to resolve this issue. I’ve seen that this has been an ongoing problem for years. So I f the answer is “We’re still analyzing this or working it,” then I’ll assume it is the company’s way of strategically burying their head in the sand and not meeting customer needs.

@garland.daniel It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate the research done prior to posting. Since you mentioned that your HR isn't being tracked accurately while you're exercising please confirm you have followed the tips on this article and have checked the factors that could affect your heart-rate reading showing on your watch.

Additionally I noticed that this idea has been already posted in our Feature Suggestion board: Ability to use Chest Strap Heart Rate Monitor or foot pods and it's marked as "not currently planned", you could find the official answer from Fitbit on the idea.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions!
