It has been quite some time since the last firmware update and I've been wondering whether Fitbit is working on or has abandoned development of the new firmware for Ionic. Although my unit is working fine and free from any major issues encountered by some forumers here, I feel the watch needs further improvement on the software and feature side to keep it relevant. I came from a Series 1 AW previously because was sold on the Ionic's promise and capability but since then there's no further updates and software feels dated.

It feels like ionic has been abandoned for the versa.
