Ionic not Working After Swimming

I used my fitbit to swim yesterday and it has stopped working. I thought it was supposed to be water resistant but apparently not. It appears to power on but with a blue screen. Customer service tries to troubleshoot by resetting but same issue. Fitbit doesnt want to replace it as it is out of warranty. But am disappointed that the product is not working as designed.

@Gabby16 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried. 

I appreciate that you mentioned you contacted our Support team. It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even though Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.
