I've had my Ionic for almost one year, never swam or showered with it...because I didn't trust the "waterproof..." claim. I went swimming yesterday and it died about an hour after I got out of the water. Now it won't charge, but when I put the charger on it, it lights up 0%, but will not progress beyond that.
Is there hope for it? I've performed all recommended troubleshooting with no luck. Am I screwed?
I LOVED my fitbit, but now I'm super annoyed...the one time I decide to try it with a swim it dies. WTH?!
My last fitbit (surge) died at about a year too...not swimming though. Is this the lifespan I can expect on these things? Cause if so...I might have to invest in a product that has a longer life span, 'cause this will get expensive...

Try to charge it from a low power supply like the USB on the computer. Give it 30 min to see If it reset.
This is a waranty replacement problem.
If its under 1 year old.
Don't know why this is just now happening. Started after the update.
Mine did the same. They sent a replacement.
Within two weeks the same problem.
The computer jumped started it but still having a hard time charging.
