Ionic not charging

Just wondering if anyone can help. Had my Ionic a couple of months now with no problems. Last couple of weeks I've had difficulties charging it.

 

Tend to leave it on overnight on my bedside table. I always make sure the cable it connected to the ionic correctly and it's undisturbed all night to charge. I always make sure the percentage charge appears on the screen to indicate it's charging correctly. The last couple of weeks when I've taken it off charge in the morning the fitbit logo appears on my ionic screen (like when I've got big changes/updates to sync) for a few seconds and when it goes, my battery has only charged by about 20%. Same thing happened when I tried charging it this morning. Any ideas?

I have a similar issue when I connect the charging cable... it displays the charging progress bar, everything seems fine, but there were times when I lay it down in a normal way on the night stand and for some reason the charging stops but it does not display anything to make me aware of that so I learned that I need to lay it down very, very gently. 

You might try and clean the charging port (those 3 dots)... sometimes dirt builds up in there preventing the cable to have a proper contact with the watch..

The magnet on the charging cable should have been much stronger in my opinion.
