Ionic not clearing notifications

Trying to clear the notifications on my Ionic. Down swipe , hit the clear all, and nothing happens. Some notifications are 2 weeks old. ?

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post regarding the notifications difficulty you are experiencing with your Ionic device, thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to try our restart process following the next steps:

 

  1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Ricardo,The resetting operation did the trick. All past notifications have cleared.Thanks for the info. Regards'AlD126

My wife's Ionic is experiencing the same thing.  She reset it, but it keeps on happening.  Is there something else she can try to solve this?

Try having the watch completely charged, shut it down, the try to do the reset the watch, holding all of the buttons until the FitBit logo appears. Hopefully this will solve her issue.

@JWFOX1 Thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time this was experienced and how many times since then? Also, the notifications are not being cleared in the Fitbit device or the app? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the helpful steps that were shared on @AlD126 post and let me know how it goes.
