My FitBit Ionic sees my new Air Pods, but when I try to pair the two together, the watch screen just shows it spinning "Pairing iPods". The folks at Best Buy worked on it for 2 hours and thought I needed to be on my home wifi. But home, and still spinning. Any thoughts?

I received my ionic last week and am experiencing the same problem - the fitbit shows "Pairing AirPods..." and hangs forever. 😞
