Second ionic last one had water seep into sensors after a swim in indoor pool. Out of box would not stay connected to iPhone X. I did everything I have seen on the forum to include 5 factory resets. It will not stay connected. It literally connects and disconnects every two seconds. Continues to do so and when I try to access items on the app to control on the watch, it won’t. Sends up connectivity error. No force shutdown, power on or off, or resets have done anything to fix this. Loosing my cool with this. Did some research and thought this was going to be the tracker I would love. Not sure that is the case.

No go. I attempted to connect it to two different phones and no luck. I also attempted to Put the current update on the Fitbit however it would not do so only on Bluetooth. It could not stay connected long enough and only would return to the welcome screen with the Fitbit logo. It does not have permanent connectivity to anything. Not sure what the problem is. The only way it will work is if I set up the Wi-Fi.

After three tries and three phones I gave up. I took it back to Kohl’s and am now on my third ionic in as many days. Fitbit clearly has some manufacturing issues that need to be addressed

I'm not sure if you can't connect or cannot receive calls and texts -and i am Not sure if you resolved your issue, but I just had the same/similar problem. But I stumbled upon a solution: in the fitbit app on my iPhone x, i went to notifications and made sure calls and text messages were on. I attempted a call while the watch was charging - no luck. I then disconnected from the charger and tried again and it worked. Hope this helps.
