Ionic not connecting with AirPods

My Ionic will no longer pair with my air pods. I'm on my second Ionic and one day it kept cutting out, so I removed it and tried to pair again. It recognizes the air pods but will not pair

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for troubleshooting this situation before posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check the information that's specified on: How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch? and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified there.

Went to troubleshooting as directed.....Fit bit will not pair with my air pods. Still works with phone, but not fit bit, negates the music function and makes running less fun. second watch and still problems.
