Just bought my Fitbit ionic had it for 2 days and it’s so frustrating that it does not count correct steps. I have daily goals and if this doesn’t do what it is supposed to then it’s going back. Any suggestions.

You need to give some more information on what it is doing (or is not doing). Is it over counting or under counting? By how many? What are you doing when it is not counting correctly? Or is it all the tIme?

Mine is doing the same thing. It is under counting by a lot. Sometimes I will walk 10 steps and it won't count any. Other times I will walk 10 steps and it will count 6. I have tried loosening the band and restarting. Thank you for the help in advance.

Hi, it is under counting or not counting at all. I have tried with moving/swinging my arm, arm still, dominant hand, non dominant hand, band tight, band loose. I walk 20 steps and it either doesn’t count or gives me 4. Yesterday it froze completely on the same number. I have restarted watch twice and reset back to factory settings without any luck.
