Ionic not holding charge after full charging

I noticed yesterday morning that my ionic wasn’t working & found out my battery was at 0%. I found this odd as I didn’t remember seeing my battery level that low. I put it on charge last night & it charged to 100%. I put it back on before bed (around 11pm) & this morning it’s back to 0% battery. I’ve only had this since Christmas last year. Why isn’t it holding the charge??

@Tania-75  Welcome to the Community, I had an issue some time ago where my Ionic was draining quicker than usual 5 days I would get from each charging cycle. I gave it a full recharge and done several restarts in succession by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until the Fitbit emblem appears triggering the reboot  After that it was fine and as rule now I always give my Ionic a reboot after each charge.

If you are not using one of the official Fitbit watch faces, I would recommend swapping to one of those too as some of the 3rd party ones can cause faster battery drains.

Thanks Tony. I had done a restart after the second time it happened & I’d charged it back up. It looked to be fine but again this morning while I was out for a walk it died. It was on 81% the night before.

I’m seriously not happy. I’ve sent an email to support to see what they say.

Thanks for your response

Hi

I have the same issue, I have more than one year with my ionic, it always took like 4.5 days to complete drain the battery but last monday it suddenly turned off and I was not able to turn it on until next day.

When it started on again, I was not working properly, I was not able to access any of the default applications that come with the watch, just the ones I installed. I did a reset to the watch and could see the apps again but now the watch is draining so fast, it goes from 100% to 0% in just 8 hours.
