I have had my Ionic from around launch. It has worked great until the past week. Every time I charge the ionic to 100% he battery drains within just a few hours. I have tried resetting the ionic multiple times, turning off all day sync and such to no avail.
I’m not sure what to do about t anymore. If the ionic is completely shot now that’s pretty discouraging. I hope there is something that can help.

If you look through the forum, this has been raised a few times.
Most of the posts I have seen state this started following a software update to the app.
I have raised this with Fitbit support and after running through a number of tests; I am just arranging my replacement under warranty.
I just hope this isn't a software issue that does the same to the replacement.

i am on my second ionic replacement with the same issue - battery started running out in a few hours. I think every fitbit I have owned - (with non-replaceable batteries) has quit working at least once in the first year and fitbit has replaced - and again has failed sometime in the following year. I love the software but am discouraged that such an expensive watch would last less than one year. I had a best buy geek squad warranty because of my prior experience with fitbit products and thus received a second replacement after the one year warranty from fitbit. However I understand that you can no longer purchase a fitbit ionic warranty from best buy. When this one fails - I may look elsewhere for a watch that lasts longer than one year.
