Ionic not measuring swim distance correctly

The last 2 times I have been swimming I have swam 80 lengths of a 25 meter pool using front crawl and not pausing between lengths. Both times my fitbit recorded more lengths than I had done, the first time it said I had swam 110 lengths and the second 114 lengths. I have set the pool length to 25 meters. Any thoughts? I bought the Ionic specifically to record swimming so i am really frustrated. I also find it frustrating that I cant edit my swims so each time I have to delete the record and the put it in manually.

That is what I bought the ionic for too. I have had it for over 3 months, swim 4 to 6 days a week and it has always been accurate in my distance. Maybe double check your gps and pool length distance again? I have complaints and issues with none of my hour swim session counting as active minutes when I am swimming my but off. The calories burned is pathetically inaccurate too but distance is always good? weird

I have checked my pool distance and the GPS seems to be working ok....it always tracks my runs and bike rides....maybe I should try in a different pool?

Thanks for your help though and it is good to know that it does work for some people and should work.....maybe I have a faulty watch?
